Ethics the Focus of Upcoming Supplementary Issue of IJCAIP
The International Journal of the Creative Arts in Interdisciplinary Practice IJCAIP announces a landmark supplementary issue of IJCAIP, "Ethics in Arts Based Health Research".
Scientists and others in the field of Arts based Health Research (ABHR) offer their views about potential ethical issues in using the arts to create and disseminate research.
Among the topics discussed are aesthetics vs. process, what constitutes "goodness" in ABHR, informed consent, arts in research involving humans, data ownership and the artist and ethics in data collection.
This issue of IJCAIP is certain to open doors for productive debate in arts and sciences as well as across other disciplines as it probes controversial and for many, sensitive research territory in the creative arts in interdisciplinary practice.
