Workshop Creating Stories Applying Story in Practice for Hope and Change

IJCAIP planning day workshop

A day workshop session is being planned by IJCAIP, The International Journal of the Creative Arts in Interdisciplinary Practice and is expected to be held in London, Ontario in late spring.

The topic of the workshop will be around accessing and creating your own personal story (through movement, writing and drama methods) and using the creative arts in practice for hope and change. The day workshop will offer professionals and others an opportunity to have an "embodied" experience with the arts while learning expressive skills and methods which could be used in communities or professionally in the workplace.

Building on the success of the CAIP, Creative Arts in Interdisciplinary Practice book series,
"Creative Arts in Interdisciplinary Practice, Inquiries for Hope and Change" , and the
upcoming book, "Creative Arts in Research for Community and Cultural Change" published by Detselig Temeron Books, Editor, Cheryl McLean will facilitate the workshop which is expected to take place in late May.
