Creative Arts in Research for Community and Cultural Change Table of Contents posted

The second text, in the CAIP (Creative Arts in Interdisciplinary Practice) Research Series, Editor Cheryl McLean, Associate Editor Robert Kelly, Detselig Temeron Press, Creative Arts in Research for Community and Cultural Change is a project of The International Journal of The Creative Arts in Interdisciplinary Practice and features research articles describing the creative arts in research within neighbourhoods, villages and cities for change .

The important role of the arts for community and cultural change and in research expressing and raising awareness about the immigrant experience is also discussed. The book features illustrative research articles about immigration and identity, racism, aboriginal health and institutional life, mental health, disability and other vital community issues such as arts and research for access to clean water and raising environmental consciousness. This book will be released in June 2011.
